Row by Row 2019 starts June 21st!
Our row is titled “Cooking Wisdom.” When I think about food, I am reminded of the times spent at the kitchen table helping my Nana prepare foods. I don’t remember what food we cooked, but I remember the talks we had. Some of my greatest life lessons I learned while rolling out pierogies. Now with two small children of my own, I hope to make their experience as wonderful as mine, filling the kitchen with words of wisdom and love.
Our row is completely pieced and incorporates elements of vinyl and embroidery. Hand embroidery designs are included in the pattern and machine embroidery designs will be given out at the counter (bring your usb stick or via email). Our row has an accent color of red in honor of my Nana, but we will display and offer several color variations. We will also offer finishing kits that include the Rick rack, border, and binding for a lovable table topper.
Our row is very versatile. It can be used as the foxy boxy (18×18), classic (9×36), filler blocks for your quilt or corner stones (4 -9×9 blocks). Our row can also be used to make table toppers, table runners, trivets, potholders, wallhangings, curtains, accents on towels, and can even be encorporated into an apron!
