Directions

Cut out 1 backing, 2 lining, and 2 interfacing stockings using the template.

Sew the 1 1/2″ strips together using a 1/4″ seam.  Press to the dark.  Cut strip into 1 1/2″ sections to yield at least 22″ pieces.

Lay the pieces out into 3 rows of 4 sections and 2 rows of 5 sections as shown below and sew together using 1/4″ seam.

Lay Template on top of front and cut out template shape from pieced front. Iron Interfacing onto the front piece and backing (optional).

Lay the Front and Back pieces on top of each other, right sides together and sew all around the sock using 1/4″ seam, leaving the top open.

Lay the Lining pieces on top of each other, right sides together and sew all around the sock using 1/4″ seam, leaving the top and the side (as shown on the template) open.

Turn the Front and Back section right side out, clipping close to the seam around the curve.  Press.  Put the Front and Back section inside the lining (lining section and front and back section will be right sides together) and sew around the top using 3/8″ seam.

Turn Right side through the side hole in the lining.  Hand sew the lining hole shut.  Press Well.

Turn the cuff down 1 1/2″ to 2″ and Voila! All Done!
